This Delivery Policy explains how delivery works when you place an order with AUTOMOTOPART LTD ("we", "us", or "our"), including dispatch timeframes, delivery services, tracking, and postcode-based exceptions.

We work with a network of UK-based warehouses and trusted courier partners to ensure parts are delivered as quickly and reliably as possible.

1. UK delivery services

We offer the following delivery options within the United Kingdom (subject to availability and exclusions outlined below):

  • Free standard delivery (2–4 working days) on eligible orders.
  • Next working day delivery, available as a paid upgrade on most items when ordered before 2:30pm on a working day.

2. Dispatch times

Over 98% of orders are dispatched within 1 working day. However, we advise allowing 2–4 working days for dispatch as stock may be held across multiple UK warehouse locations and occasionally requires transfer before shipping.

3. Couriers and tracking

We use reputable courier services to deliver orders, which may include:

  • Royal Mail Tracked 24 / Tracked 48
  • FedEx next working day tracked services

Where tracking is available, dispatch confirmation and tracking details will be sent by email once your order has shipped.

4. Multiple parcels

If your order contains more than one item, parts may be dispatched separately. This can occur where items are stored in different warehouse locations and allows us to deliver items as quickly as possible.

As a result, your order may arrive in multiple parcels.

5. Delivery exceptions and surcharges

Delivery to non-mainland UK postcodes may be subject to an additional surcharge. This can include, but is not limited to, addresses in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Shetland Islands, and the Channel Islands.

Any surcharge is passed on at cost and paid directly to the courier. If a surcharge applies, we will contact you shortly after purchase and provide the option to pay the additional charge or cancel your order.

Where possible, we aim to use Royal Mail services to help minimise additional delivery charges.

6. Changes to delivery service

We may change the delivery service used without notice where required due to factors such as item size, weight, packaging requirements, or delivery destination.

7. Collection

Orders are fulfilled from multiple warehouse locations across the UK and collection is not available.

8. International delivery

International delivery may be available depending on the item and destination. Please contact us before placing an order so we can confirm availability and pricing.
