The live application is a panel edge, not the whole body

This collection's products are edge guards rather than full covers, paint-protection film, sill plates or impact bars. Their dimensions and fitting advice should therefore be judged at a door, boot-lid or other expressly compatible flange. They are not suitable for masking a jagged collision edge.

Door gaps must remain available for normal movement

Panels move slightly on hinges, body shells flex and seals compress. Measure clearance at multiple points and close the door slowly during a temporary trial. A guard caught between two painted surfaces can chip both, alter wind noise or prevent full latching.

Surface preparation must remain paint-compatible

Wash away grit, degrease with a product approved for the cured finish and dry the seam completely. Strong solvent can soften paint, stain plastic or damage weatherstrips. Silicone-rich dressing prevents adhesive bonding and can complicate later refinishing.
