- E-POE 100 is a compressor oil specially formulated for electric compressors. It is composed of a blend of polyol esters and additives carefully chosen to obtain better lubricity, good chemical and thermal stability and excellent wear protection for the components of the A/C system of hybrid or electric vehicles. E–POE 100 is compatible with all refrigerant gases that work with vehicle A/C systems,even at the lowest temperature. In addition, they are developed to achieve a high level ofresistance to electricity. As far as it concerns the automotive sector, it’s recommended to use only compressor oils with the following features: - dielectric strength ≥ 75 kV – the ideal value for all hybrid and electric vehicles. - electrical conductivity close to zero - it is an essential feature when it comes to electric or hybrid vehicles. Electrical conductivity (pS/m) is the inverse of resistivity (Ω × mm2/m), thus: - conductors = have low resistivity (10-2) and high conductivity. - semiconductors = intermediate values between conductors and insulators in both resistivity (103) and conductivity. - insulators = have high resistivity (1038) and low conductivity. E-POE 100 has brilliantly passed the test for the insulation properties as in the table below:

This new lubricant has been specially formulated to work in all types of vehicle air conditioning systems. A synthetic ester based oil being non conductible and is therefore safe to lubricate the hybrid car air conditioning system. Service stations can now use one oil instead of flushing charge lines, changing oil and dye bottles and carrying four if not more different system oils in stock. Therefore using the POE Oil becomes a sensible option and more cost effective.
