Automatic Transmission Oil Sump Seal

An automatic-transmission oil sump seal closes the joint between a compatible transmission casing and its removable pan. Depending on design, it may be a moulded elastomer gasket, a coated metal carrier, cork-composite seal or specified liquid sealant. Automatic-transmission fluid performs several jobs
