Do not size a jump starter from its printed current alone. Check system voltage, engine rating, battery condition, temperature and the precise NOCO support information. A deeply discharged or repeatedly flat battery may have an electrical drain, charging-system fault or internal failure that a boost cannot correct.
Genius charging modes must match the battery
Official NOCO guidance for Genius 5 and Genius 10 separates 6 V, 12 V, 12 V AGM and 12 V lithium modes, with some models adding repair, force or supply functions.
