Do not use a converter merely because its two ends physically connect; the manufacturer must support the complete fuel, pressure and appliance combination. If a new cartridge stops before fully seating, hisses unexpectedly or damages a seal, move away from ignition sources and follow the leak/emergency instructions rather than tightening harder.
Threaded, bayonet and cylinder connections
GoSystem's official gas range describes EN417 threaded cartridges with self-sealing valves, while the current evidence also includes a bayonet cartridge, refill-type container, small refill can and CGA-style cylinder wording. EN417 describes defined non-refillable cartridges, not every portable gas vessel. Thread form, valve, seal and operating pressure all need to match the appliance.
Connect only when burner controls are off and the appliance is cool. Keep dirt out of the valve and check that the seal is present, correctly seated and within service condition. Hand-tighten in the instructed direction without tools unless the product explicitly calls for one. After connection, check joints with the approved method in open air before lighting.
Stove stability, ventilation and carbon monoxide
Portable stoves produce flame, hot surfaces and combustion gases. Set up outside on firm, level, non-combustible ground away from dry vegetation, tent walls and vehicle bodywork. Use only pan sizes and supports stated for the Dynasty model, because an oversized pan can reflect heat onto the cartridge or make the stove overturn. Keep children and loose clothing clear.
Carbon monoxide has no colour, smell or taste and can build quickly when fuel burns in inadequate ventilation. Government fire-safety guidance says never cook inside a tent, and gas equipment should not be improvised as space heating. An open zip or window is not a substitute for outdoor use. Extinguish the appliance before sleeping, moving it or changing fuel.
Blow torches, fine flames and hot-work planning
GoSystem torch names describe auto-start, manual, fine-flame, swivel and swirl formats. Ignition style and burner shape affect convenience but not the need for hot-work controls. Identify material, nearby coatings and hidden voids before applying heat. Remove fuel containers, aerosols, trim, insulation and combustible dust from the flame path and beyond the visible work area.
Never use a torch on or near a tank, pipe, cylinder or closed container that has held fuel or solvent unless a competent safe system has made it suitable for hot work. Vehicle cavities can carry heat to unseen seam sealer, wiring and sound insulation. Keep suitable fire equipment available, watch the reverse side and continue the fire check for the period required by the workplace assessment.
Lighting, flame control and shutdown
Follow the exact lighting sequence, keeping face and hands out of the burner line. Auto ignition can fail, so do not continue releasing gas repeatedly or introduce an unapproved lighter. A stable blue flame may be expected for some burners, but unusual yellowing, lifting, roaring or flare-up calls for shutdown and inspection. Wind can extinguish or deflect a flame without stopping gas flow.
After use, close the appliance and cylinder controls in the order stated. Put the hot burner on a non-combustible rest and do not touch, pack or expose it to water for rapid cooling. Confirm the flame is out and no gas smell remains. Remove a cartridge only where the instructions allow, outdoors and after cooling, then fit any protective cap.
Storage, transport and damaged cartridges
Store cartridges upright where required, cool, dry, ventilated and away from direct sun, frost extremes, ignition and routes of escape. Do not leave them in a hot vehicle or beside a stove. Keep valve caps fitted and separate them from tools that can pierce or abrade the container. Transport rules and carrier restrictions can apply, so check the current route before travel.
Reject a cartridge with serious rust, dents, fire exposure, leaking valve, illegible identity or damaged thread. Do not test disposal by puncturing or burning it. Follow the product and local hazardous-container route, distinguishing a genuinely empty container from one that still contains pressure. In a fire or significant leak, evacuate and contact emergency services rather than attempting to cool or move cylinders without training.
