A disc that physically passes over the studs can still be wrong if its offset or thickness differs. Pads must match the caliper and disc. Calipers, hoses and parking-brake cables
APEC describes both new and remanufactured calipers in its braking range. Its remanufacturing information explains that the original casting is dismantled, cleaned and rebuilt with new internal and rubber wear components before testing. That does not make one caliper interchangeable with another casting. Steering, suspension and wheel bearings
APEC's official steering and suspension range names axial joints, ball joints, control arms, stabiliser links, tie-rod ends, tie-rod assemblies and wishbones. APEC wheel bearing kits are described by the brand as sealed and supplied with fitting hardware where required. "Sealed" does not remove the need for correct installation. Hub nuts may be single-use, tightening procedures can involve torque plus angle, and a magnetic encoder can be damaged or installed facing away from the sensor. Noise that rises with road speed suggests a bearing, but tyres, brakes and driveline components can sound similar; diagnosis should precede replacement.
Driveline, sensors and supporting parts
Driveshafts vary by engine, gearbox, final-drive arrangement, wheel side, overall length and spline pattern. Automatic and manual transmissions within the same model range may use different shafts.
