Dual-mass flywheels and conversion sets
A dual-mass flywheel uses two principal masses with an internal damping system to manage engine torsional vibration before it reaches the gearbox. Support the vehicle and gearbox with rated equipment and maintain stable alignment. A gearbox hung on the clutch disc can bend the hub and create release problems. Clean the bellhousing, inspect the fork, pivot, guide tube and input splines, and use only the lubricant and amount specified. Excess grease can migrate to the friction surfaces.
