Do not assume that ‘direct to rust’ means no preparation. Loose rust, flaking paint, oil, salts and dirt can prevent sound adhesion and must be treated as directed. Likewise, do not use a general metal coating on a hot exhaust part, brake component, fuel contact area or structural repair unless the exact product information explicitly covers that duty.
Rust removers, converters and Rust Beater
